When someone is famous like Oprah Winfrey she is often quoted and misquoted. Oprah's acai berry diet was supposedly announced on her show. Actually she never revealed a specific diet with anything she was eating, but praised the healthy attributes of the acai berry with its many vitamins, minerals and all around good taste.
Dr. Perricone and Dr.Oz both have been on her show several times, and both are well respected physicians in the healt arena. Both of them claim it to be a number one superfood. The acai berry whether in powder, juice or supplement is a superior addition to most diets.
Oprah really enjoys the taste of the acai berry. It is reported to be a cross between red wine and chocolate. One of the reasons it is said to be such a great weight loss product is for its high nutrition content and satisfying flavor in many products. There are so many new flavors one can try.
Many of us have struggled with weight issues, and seem to be constantly on one diet or another. Though acai berries are said to be a great boom in the weight loss arena, one must still make a commitment to eating healthy foods and exercise.
